MEET THE OWNERS
April Starlight, Ringleader
April Starlight moved to Ashland in 2005 from the SF Bay Area (with a short pit-stop in Shasta County). She holds a BA in Creative Writing and also in French Language and Literatures from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She has a passion for good coffee, good literature and the joyful little munchkins who fill her life.

Ramona P. Rubio—aka, Grandma Mona, Myth and Merriment Department

I have had the opportunity to enjoy a multi-faceted life—from Interior Designer to Cultural Mythologist to co-owner of Inner Child Café. One of my proudest accomplishments was to receive my PhD in Cultural Mythology in 2000 from Pacifica Graduate Institute, the home of Joseph Campbell’s archives.

I love spending time with my two grand babies, Terran and Taj. They help me free my “inner child,” especially when they want me to ride the squiggle car with them! For me, Inner Child Café is a perfect playground to explore and activate my creative interests.
